In Jan. 2023 we proudly launched a collab with Offroam, makers of high-end vehicle-specific phone mounts. Now, you can get all the benefits of our SlimLink mounting/charging system in a solid aluminum mount that is specifically designed to fit the dash or vent of your make, model, and year of vehicle.
Where can I buy PD x Offroam Mounts?
They're currently sold exclusively through Offroam's website. Offroam warehouses their products in the US and they ship globally via UPS. Your shipping cost will be quoted at checkout. For international shipping, duties and local taxes will be extra and handled by a UPS customs broker.
Selling these items through Offroam's website (and not through the PD website or stores) allowed us to get these products to market much faster and more efficiently.
What vehicles are currently supported by PD x Offroam Mounts?
Check out the list below, or go to this page on Offroam's website and filter the list by your vehicle make. Note below that there are a few models that won't become available until later this year. If you don't see your make/model/year below, that means that Offroam has not yet designed a mounting base for that vehicle.

What phone models are supported, and do I need a Peak Design case?
For the best performance and user experience, we recommend using a Peak Design case, but you don't need one if you have a Magsafe compatible phone or case.
Peak Design cases are designed and built to work optimally with Peak Design mounts. They are Magsafe compatible, but have stronger magnets in them which creates greater holding force between our cases and mounts. They also have the revolutionary SlimLink mounting system built into them (that little rounded square on the back). This allows you to mount your phone on our locking mounts, such as those we make for bikes and motorcycles.
Peak Design cases are available for the following phones:
- iPhone (beginning with 11 onward, including SE)
- Samsung Galaxy (beginning with S21 onward)
- Google Pixel (beginning with 6 onward)
But as we said, you don't need a Peak Design case to use PD x Offroam Mounts. Any Magsafe compatible phone or phone case will work just fine.
And if you don't have one of the phone models listed above, Peak Design makes a Universal Adapter that you can stick to the back of almost any phone case to make it compatible with PD x Offroam Mounts, and the rest of the Peak Design ecosystem.
What comes in the box?
There are 2 main components to a PD x Offroam phone mount: the SlimLink mount head (which is manufactured by Peak Design) and the mount base (manufactured by Offroam).
The SlimLink mount head is identical to the head on our Charging Car Mount. But instead of having an adhesive pad on the bottom, it has a rigid aluminum shaft with a 20mm aluminum ball at the end. That ball fits into the Offroam mount base.
The mount base is specifically designed to fit a particular make/model/year of vehicle. Some bases clamp to the dash, others clamp on or around an air vent. All mount bases are made from solid aluminum.
The product also comes with a cigarette lighter power adapter, 2m USBC-to-USBC charging cable, and 3 adhesive cable-routing clips. These are the exact same parts that come with our Charging Car Mount.
Can I upgrade my existing Offroam mount?
You sure can! You can purchase the PD x Offroam mount head by itself which can attach to your existing Offroam mount (or any 3rd party phone mount that uses 20mm ball-and-socket joints).
How do I install it?
You can find installation instructions for your specific make/model mount on Offroam's website (go here and then click on the specific product you're interested in).
Once you have installed the Offroam mount base, clamping in the SlimLink mount head is simple. The ball-and-socket joint lets you get your viewing angle just right, and then you can tighten it so it remains rigidly in place.
Will the magnets hold my phone when I'm off-roading?
You bet. The magnetic force between the phone and the mount, along with the friction created by the nonslip pad, is enough to keep your phone totally secure, even during the gnarliest of off-road adventures.
