We exist to build happy and meaningful lives for the people that work here.
Our mission wasn’t derived from MBA’s, leadership books, or a predetermined strategy.
It's the way that we've been doing things since the beginning of this company. So, we wrote it down:
We’ve been investor-free since the beginning.
In 2010, founder Peter Dering took a trip around the world and learned that carrying a big camera kind of sucked. He quit his job, designed a better way to carry a camera, and launched it on Kickstarter. It was a hit.
Ever since, we’ve used crowdfunding to bring products to life on our own terms—no investors, no interference. We make the products we want, and run the company we believe in.
